Internal Auditor Training

Description

This training has been developed for the Idaho Manufacturing Alliance (IMA) for their members who are AS9100 registered or in the process of becoming registered. It includes the principles and practices of quality auditing and learning the requirements of AS9100. The training will satisfy the requirements of AS9100 section 7.2 Competence, to ensure that personnel performing quality audits are qualified through training and experience to perform those audits. 

Note: Completing this class will also qualify attendees to perform audits for ISO 9001:2016. In addition, internal auditors are qualified to assess suppliers’ quality management systems to support their company’s selection and monitoring of suppliers. The audit principles and practices are the same. Each attendee will receive the following: 

  • Spiral-bound copy of classroom material 
  • Copy of AS9100D
  • Blank audit checklists
  • Post-test
  • Mini-Guide to Internal Auditing
  • Certificate of Achievement at completion

Perform gap assessments and develop implementation plans for quality management standards. Assist organizations in getting registered to ISO and AS quality management system standards.

Relevant positions held include Manager of Strategic Quality for Insitu Inc, Quality Manager at Altman, Browning and Company, Director of Quality for Techform Advanced Technology, Quality Manager at Controltek, Business Improvement Manager at R.R. Donnelly Norwest and Quality Engineer at Precision Castparts Corp.

Marcia is an RABQSA International Quality Management System Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Biomedical Auditor and a Plexus EPiC ISO 9000 Training System Certified Trainer.

Tuesday, 9/14, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm MT--Classroom Training 

Wednesday & Thursday, TBD -- Audit Training at Manufacturing Sites, both days won't be required, time and duration dependent on registrant count. We will administer sign-ups as the class fills.
